Capturing Love and Light

I had an amazing time with this sweet family.  It was very cold and very windy but we made it work and we made it fun for the kiddos.  We met around a neighborhood that had a nice bridge and a few trees.  It was a bit later in the morning so we found our sweet photography spots around these beautiful trees that look just like Christmas trees... perfect.  I was also able to get that morning haze which I am always happy to work with.  I just love nature.  When you learn to work with what's around you including the trees,  light and shadows it (takes time) you find you are able to develop your style and create artistic photos.  It took me a few years, LOL,  and I am still learning...always will be.

Keep in mind that your greatest element to work with is the people in front of you.  Capture the love and happiness of a family or the way a mother looks lovingly over her child and you will have your photograph regardless of the haze or the trees.

I also love it when families bring their pets.  These sweet pups add a whole new element to the family shoot and they make it fun for the kids.  I couldn't have asked for a sweeter family to spend my morning with.

Thank you Myers Family!
